I welcome each of you to our celebration of the Eucharist for this…the second Sunday of Lent. In today's Gospel we see Jesus being transformed or transfigured… when he…along with his three intimate disciples hears a voice saying,”This is my beloved son, Listen to him." According to today's Gospel…from Mark…we hear a very brief account of Jesus being tempted in the desert by Satan. Even in its shortness…I believe there is plenty in this gospel for us to reflect upon.
