Sobha Group's Flaer furniture brand debuts at Downtown Design in Dubai
Flaer, a premium furniture label from Sobha Group, is showing its wider collection at Downtown Design 2026 in Dubai, ahead of a showroom opening in the city.
Flaer is presenting its collection at Downtown Design from 4 to 8 November 2026, marking its regional debut after first appearing at Milan Design Week in April. The brand, a premium furniture label from Sobha Group, describes its approach as blending influences from different cultures into pieces built on balance, restraint and emotional appeal.
The 300 square metre display is arranged as an open arcade of arches and divided into four settings, each linked to a time of day through colour, light and sound. The settings use materials such as dark timber, marble, oak, terracotta and leather.
Sobha Group, which has more than five decades of experience in interiors and bespoke furniture, produces Flaer's collections at a dedicated hub in the UAE using Industry 4.0 systems and European engineering standards. Ravi Menon, Chairman of Sobha Group, said the debut introduces the collection to the region for the first time, ahead of the opening of Flaer's Dubai showroom.
