DoorDash agrees to buy Instacart in $17 billion deal
DoorDash will acquire Instacart in a $17 billion transaction that the companies say will widen choice for customers.
DoorDash has agreed to buy Instacart in a deal valued at $17 billion, the two companies said.
The companies said the combination will expand the options available to customers. Instacart shoppers will be able to buy from 150,000 stores, up from the roughly 100,000 currently available on the platform, according to the firms.
