In the episode, Vision acknowledges the grief he has carried over the loss of his family, accepts memories he had resisted, and recognises Tommy as his son. VisionQuest holds an 86% Tomatometer score and an 82% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The episode closes with Vision surrendering to the Client, a character played by James Spader who wears the face of Ultron's human avatar. The finale, titled Forever, is expected to reveal the Client's motives and conclude Vision's storyline.
