Kane misses penalty on return as Bayern and Dortmund draw 2-2
Harry Kane's first game since winning the Ballon d'Or ended in a 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, as a late equaliser denied Bayern Munich a win.
Harry Kane struck the crossbar from the penalty spot in the 56th minute of Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. It was his first appearance since being named the world's best footballer earlier in the week, making him the first Englishman in 25 years to win the award.
Bayern led through Konrad Laimer in the 38th minute, and Dayot Upamecano restored the lead in the 66th minute after Kane headed a cross from Joshua Kimmich into his path. Dortmund had equalised through Serhou Guirassy earlier in the second half, and Fabio Silva struck an 89th-minute equaliser to salvage a point for the visitors.
The draw leaves both clubs on 18 points at the top of the Bundesliga, with Bayern ahead on goal difference.
