UK departments told to find 1% savings to fund defence plan
Government departments in the UK have been asked to cut 1% from their spending to help pay for the Defence Investment Plan.
Healey has instructed government departments to make cuts of 1% to their public spending. The reduction is intended to free up money for the Defence Investment Plan.
