Cinema and streaming picks for UAE audiences this weekend
A big-screen epic, a live K-pop concert broadcast and several new streaming series head this weekend's entertainment options in the UAE.
Ramayana: Part One, an Indian epic running three and a half hours, is now playing in UAE cinemas. Ranbir Kapoor takes the role of Rama, Yash plays Ravana and Sai Pallavi plays Sita.
On Saturday, the Stray Kids STAY world tour show from Tokyo Dome will be beamed live into cinemas, with all eight members performing and the set opening with Hall of Fame.
On streaming, Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook arrives on Apple TV on 6 November. The eight-episode series follows Awkwafina as she tries to revive her family's Cantonese restaurant in Flushing, New York, with help from chefs and her relatives. Netflix's Minimum Wage offers short episodes of about 12 and a half minutes set in a chaotic pizza shop, while The Gilded Age Season 4 returns to OSN+ with eight episodes.
