Kareena Kapoor recalls months of sleepless nights after Saif Ali Khan stabbing

Kareena Kapoor said she struggled to sleep for about six months after the attack on her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. The couple spoke about the night on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, with Saif Ali Khan calling it the worst night of his life.

The incident took place in the early hours of January 16, 2025, when an intruder entered their apartment in Mumbai's Bandra area and confronted a member of the household staff. Saif Ali Khan intervened and was stabbed multiple times. He was taken to hospital and underwent a six-hour operation before being discharged on January 21.

Mumbai Police arrested the accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, three days after the attack. The court rejected his second attempt to plead guilty, and the case has moved towards trial. The episode is part of the final season of the show.
