Dubai Police has warned that cybercriminals are taking advantage of digital vulnerabilities and gaps in online services to defraud people. The force urged residents to stay vigilant and protect their personal and financial information.
Lt Col Dr Saeed Al Marri, Director of the Information Security Centre at Dubai Police, will explain the tactics used by online scammers in the seventh episode of the force's podcast. The episode is hosted by Mahra Al Marzouqi.
The episode will be broadcast on Friday, October 30, at 7pm on the Dubai Police YouTube channel. It will discuss how fraudsters exploit technological gaps, the forms of online fraud to watch for, and the role of families in preventing scams.
