Indian expat cleared by Sharjah court after wrongful arrest at Dubai Airport
A Sharjah court has fully acquitted an Indian expat who had faced deportation over a rental fraud case involving his villa documents.
An Indian expat in Dubai was wrongly imprisoned and faced deportation over a rental fraud scheme. He had been arrested at Dubai Airport. The scheme was allegedly run by a rogue real estate agency that used his villa documents without his involvement. A court in Sharjah has now fully acquitted him of the charges.
